Internships
The College of Business at Anderson University requires an internship of all students participating in the traditional program.
According to Alan R. Oxendine, General Manager of Honeywell International:
The Anderson University Internship Program is an outstanding program combining classroom theory and “real world” learning. Our organization has utilized students from Anderson University in many areas of our operations. Without question the students are well prepared to meet the challenges in a global economy, utilizing contemporary practices enriched by their experience in industry. As a Fortune 50 company with several manufacturing locations in the state of South Carolina, our intention is to continue to expand the program to provide additional opportunities for Anderson University students. It is evident that the students at Anderson University are well-rounded individuals with broad understanding, making an impact and contributing to our success. Anderson College today is providing a high quality education that is preparing our future leaders of tomorrow. As an industry leader I encourage others to take the opportunity to explore the internship program and learn how these students are making a difference.
