Thank you for considering a graduate degree at Anderson University. In this webpage you will find a description of our master’s program. The Bulletin also contains important academic regulations, degree requirements, Anderson University policies, and other information to help in your decision regarding the graduate program in education at Anderson University. There has been a demand for all public school teachers to up-grade their teaching credentials and become more highly qualified to teach under the No Child Left Behind Act. With a strong undergraduate teacher education program already in place, Anderson University continues to support the goal of providing more highly qualified teachers in the classroom by offering a Master of Education degree that will focus on school instruction to enhance teaching methods and techniques. The need for Anderson University to provide a graduate program meeting the needs of public school teachers and others seeking a Masters of Education degree is evident from the overwhelming support from the local Anderson area community. The Dean of the College of Education, Graduate and undergraduate studies is the chief administrative officer of the graduate program and takes general responsibility for the development, improvement, and administration of the graduate study at Anderson University. All matters of policy, procedures, and graduate curriculum are developed, approved, and implemented in consultation with the Graduate Council and Academic Dean of Anderson University.
