The Teacher Education Program at Anderson College is a dynamic unit which continues to prepare some of the best teachers in the upstate of South Carolina. The partnerships AC has with P-12 schools and within the community help to strengthen the educational process for aspiring school teachers. Parents and students can be assured that Anderson College’s teacher education program will provide a challenging, cutting-edge preparation of aspiring teachers in a way that the students’ inner peace is nurtured and developed as well. In addition, the extensive field-based teacher education program provides practical, hands-on opportunities for aspiring teachers. Local school systems continue to express much interest in hiring AC graduates to teach in their schools. Currently, teacher education certification is possible in:

In the future, AC is hoping to offer middle level education certification for beginning teachers and currently certified teachers wishing to teach in a different grade level. The evening program offers elementary education and early childhood education degrees as well.
