After admission into the Teacher Education Program and prior to student teaching, each candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Grades of “C” or above in all courses required within major program including all upper division level education courses;

• Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5;

• Demonstration of ethical and professionally responsible behavior (based on Code of Ethics and Conceptual Framework for Teacher Education Program, evaluations by field experience supervisors including cooperating teachers and individual professors);

• Successful completion of a pre-student teaching conference with major advisor; and

• Successful completion of application for student teaching conference with Director of Teacher Education
