First Choice

Anderson University offers another exciting option to make college even more affordable!  The First Choice program at Anderson offers additional scholarship money in a variety of sources.  For example, the average First Choice recipient  (SC Resident) receives $16,425 in total gift aid.    This discounted cost for an Anderson student at an amazing 71%! 
FIRST CHOICE BENEFITS

1. Students pay a priority housing reservation fee of $250.  This allows First Choice students to indicate their housing preference before any other freshmen are placed.
2. Students receive scholarships that can reduce their cost by up to 71%
3. Students can finish their college search early and can begin to prepare for college.
4. Parents can begin the preparation of financing any balance owed. Anderson offers special, interest-free payment plans that help families better accommodate any balance remaining.

FIRST CHOICE PROCESS

Students that are interested in First Choice should complete the following steps: 
First Choice Scholarships are on a first come, first served basis and may be exhausted prior to the dates mentioned below.  It is strongly encouraged that the student begins the process before the dates mentioned.

• Return Housing Application and $250 reservation fee with Intent of First Choice Form.
