GRADUATION APPLICATION DETAILS
Students must formally apply for graduation at The Graduate School by the end of the first week of classes during the term in which they plan to graduate. Degrees are awarded at the end of each semester. (i.e., in May and December). Diplomas and transcripts of students owing money to the university and will be withheld until the account is cleared.
In order to participate in the May graduation, a student must:

Complete all requirements for the Master of Education Degree by May prior to anticipated graduation date of that same year.

Completed the Graduate School Graduation Application and turned it in to the Registrars Office by November 15 th of the previous year.
In order to participate in the December graduation, a student must:

Complete all requirements for the Master of Education Degree by December prior to anticipated graduation date of that same year.

Complete the Graduate School Graduation Application and turn it in to the Registrars Office by July 1 of the anticipated graduation year.
COMMENCEMENT PARTICIPATION POLICY
Students completing all degree requirements by the end of the spring semester are expected to participate in the May Commencement ceremony. Students completing all degree requirements by the end of the fall semester are expected to participate in the December Commencement ceremony. Degree candidates will not earn degrees nor be graduated from Anderson College until they have completed all degree requirements. Participation in a commencement ceremony does not presume graduation from the University.
