Internships
Mission
The mission of Anderson University’s internship program is to connect Anderson’s students to local and regional internship opportunities available through the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and regional businesses.
To Students
For approximately 150 hours per semester, students will intern with a manufacturing firm, service provider, or non-profit organization. Internships provide valuable hands-on experience and networking opportunities that serve as a stepping-stone for careers.
To Employers
Organizations may want to consider interns as an opportunity to complete specific projects, get a set of additional “hands”, or preview perspective employees. An internship is a learning opportunity for the student, but it can bring a valuable resource to your organization.
Students from a variety of majors are available to employers in retail, hospitality, manufacturing, service, or non-profit settings.
Past Internships Include:
- Anderson Area YMCA Manpower
A. G. Edwards Investments Medicus
Electrolux Home Products New Foundations
Honeywell Nylon Plastic Omnium
McNair Law Firm Anderson County
McCoy Wright Realty
