MANAGING TIME

IN COLLEGE

When students begins college, they should be aware that there is perhaps no greater necessary skill than that of managing time.  Instead of viewing college life as a great mass of “free time,” students soon realize that they must learn to control how they use the time.  For many, this is a new experience.  During this brief online workshop, students will gain an understanding of procrastination and skills to control it, how to stay organized by the use of calendars and lists, and how to use a method for daily planning.  In the end, students should have a better understanding of time management and its benefits.
