Story
10/26/2009 - Women's Golf Finishes Seventh at BoscobelPENDLETON, S.C. -- The Anderson women's golf team wrapped up the Boscobel Intercollegiate in seventh place after the second and final day of action at the event, which was hosted by Wofford at the Boscobel Golf & Country Club.
The Trojans slipped six strokes from their first-round 334 to post a final–round 340 and finished nine strokes behind USC Upstate.
Anderson sophomore Kalyn Johnson (81-80=161) trimmed a stoke off yesterday’s first round to finish in a tie for 16th, while senior Sophie Dembroski (81-83=164) carded a final-round 83 to share the 22nd spot.
Freshman Lindsay Parks posted an 87 to finish 35th and sophomore Laura Buyers shot a total of 178 to finish 37th. Sophomore Anna Jenks posted the second-largest improvement of the day, shaving an impressive nine strokes off her opening round and completed the tourney in 40th .
